In the church today there is a lot of anti- prosperity gospel teaching going around, and the attitude in the church towards this subject leans towards the negative. People tend to look at people’s wealth and judge them on this, not seeing the big picture and understanding truly about it what is this prosperity gospel.

It is very important to read the scriptures in the bible concerning prosperity to understand the prosperity gospel -Chronicles 29:12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and though reignest over all, and in thine hand is power and might, and in thine hand is power and might, and in thine hand it is to make great, and give strength to all.

The lord says to trust him and he will provide all things. He does not want his people living in poverty or in any negative thinking, depression, grief, fear or anything else. If you trust in yourself of this world’s system it is likely your life will end up a disaster God has promised you all things, which is including the prosperity gospel.

The correct way to understand is Gods way, Deuteronomy 8:18 But though shalt remember thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swear until his fathers, as it is this day.

Through what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross he gives all things to us- Prosperity, Power over the enemy, Jesus gives us the ability to gain wealth, but we MUST put our hand to something for him to bless it with the prosperity gospel as it is known, if you do nothing expect to receive nothing, that is how his godly system works.

God is the source of your prosperity, everything you have and have achieved in your life is from God he has already promised it and provided it through Jesus, every good thing comes from him. Financial blessings isn’t God giving you money (he doesn’t work like that) through what Jesus did for man kind, he has provided it and your faith or belief in what Christ has already achieved manifests the break though in your life being called the prosperity gospel.

Faith without works is dead, assets is not what makes prosperity great, it is not your house and your car or any thing material like this being the prosperity gospel, it is the anointing and the power that God  through grace that has been given to us that already provided us everything we need.

When God is your source, he will apply all of your needs, when you put him first in your life, over your family, friends and everything else, when you place your hand to anything  EG: a new job if you believe (you will be promoted) a business ( your business will prosper )  just reach out and take what is already yours through Jesus Christ, this is what is known as the prosperity gospel.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Trusting God in the area of your finances is a step of faith if you can not trust him with money and finances than it is difficult to trust him with everything else as finances should be the smallest thing to be concerned about.

Luke 16 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous Mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

the prosperity gospel as it is known is how God works in all areas in the same way, it isn’t about what you should get from God but it should also be about what you give also to other and  Jesus, as Jesus loves a cheerful giver.

This really is a critical point with the prosperity gospel, many Christians think it is greedy or selfish to have prosperity and wealth or the blessing preached called the Prosperity Gospel, how are you to bless others if you are poor? It is actually a selfish attitude if you only desire your basic needs, as the world is full of people that have needs no one is actually able to give to others that need to be given to and it is up to us to help.

We need to prosper to have more, to be a blessing on the world. God said to Abraham : Genesis 12:2 And I will make a thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing.

If you look at most of the men from the Old Testament : Abraham, King David etc you will notice that they were rich, God blessed them, money is irrelevant to God. What god cares about is your heart and your relationship with him and he wants to see you well and prosperous and to understand the prosperity gospel.

He looks at your heart inwardly, as it is not what counts on the outside, he does care if you put money first the lord do not judge people on what they have but by there fruit. We need more Christians to raise up and preach the gospel, heal the sick and raise the dead, it is difficult to achieve this without believing that you are not and already prosperous and we do have the prosperity gospel.
